About Me

Hi, I’m Mariachiara — yes, all one word, with a K sound in “Chiara” 🙂 I’m from Italy, and I help people plan journeys that feel clear, personal and meaningful.

My background is not the most obvious one for someone working with travel. I come from a world shaped by Mathematics, Computer Engineering, and daily work with data as a Data Engineer: a world of structure, logic, complexity, systems and clarity.

But there is another part of me that has always been drawn to art, beauty, movement, mountains, open landscapes, unfamiliar places and endless views.

One of my personal mottos is: I love places with endless views.
It says something about the way I travel, but also about the way I look at life: with curiosity, openness, and the desire to keep discovering what exists beyond the visible line.

I am curious by nature. I love learning, observing, connecting ideas, moving between different worlds and staying open to the unknown. I love sport, discipline and the relationship with the body so much that I also became an ISSA certified personal trainer. And I have always loved the colour orange: warm, alive, energetic, somewhere between saffron and sunset.

Travel, for me, belongs to this same inner landscape. It is where structure and freedom meet. It is where curiosity becomes movement, where the unknown stops being abstract and becomes something you can walk through, breathe in, and remember.

My work brings together both sides of me: the part that knows how to organise complexity, and the part that is moved by atmosphere, beauty, freedom and discovery.

I help you plan the practical side of a journey while keeping alive the atmosphere, rhythm and meaning of the experience you want to live.

My way of travelling

Travel has never meant only “seeing places” to me. What has always drawn me in is the deeper experience behind it: entering a new atmosphere, encountering a different culture, shifting your perspective, and discovering how much a journey can change the way you feel, think and look at the world.

Over the years, I have travelled — mainly solo, but not only — through almost 50 countries, moving between capitals and major cities, small towns and remote villages, islands, natural landscapes and places that often fall outside the most obvious routes. What has stayed with me most is the connection I have felt with the places I visited: their atmosphere, rhythm, landscapes and people. I have always been curious about local cultures and different ways of living, thinking and relating to the world. These encounters have deeply enriched me, both as a traveller and as a person.

They also shaped the way I naturally began helping other people with their own journeys: listening to what they were looking for, bringing order to scattered ideas, and creating trips that could feel coherent, personal and alive.

That is the work I love.

I have also worked on travel concepts connected to meaningful and immersive experiences. In one of these projects, I had the opportunity to design two proposals in Northern Italy and to be welcomed with great warmth and generosity by two beautiful venues: Il Colletto AgriBioRelais in Franciacorta and Villa Stecchini Resort in the land of Prosecco.

Experiences like this have deepened my sensitivity to atmosphere, rhythm, place and the way a journey can be shaped around something truly special.

I believe in travel as freedom.
I believe in curiosity as a way of life.
I believe in the beauty of places, people and unexpected moments.

And I believe that some journeys, when they meet us at a certain moment in life, can stay with us far beyond the return.

What matters to me

What matters most to me is that your trip feels like yours.

I work best with travellers who are not simply looking for a generic list of places to see, but for a journey that reflects their pace, their interests, their style of travel, and the moment they are in. If you would like to see how this approach translates into real journeys, you can explore some of the travel stories I have helped shape.

Some are planning a solo journey. Some are travelling as a couple or with someone close to them. Some feel overwhelmed by too many options. Others simply know that this trip matters, even if they cannot fully explain why yet.

What connects them is the desire for a journey that feels clear, thoughtful and personal: well prepared, but not rigid; structured, but still open to spontaneity, wonder and genuine experience.

Because sometimes the most meaningful part of a trip is the version of yourself that gets to emerge while you are there.
